I had previously tried the Nails Inc. Gel Effect Polish in
Kensington High Street (
here) and was really impressed with both the color and formula of Nails Inc.'s new polish line. I picked up
Bond Street, which is a gorgeous dusty, deep plum purple creme. If I were to have my own polish line, I would definitely want it to be similar to this formula (yep, that's how much I love it). It applies beautifully and thanks to the 'plumping effect,' it camouflages any ridges or imperfections (similar to the way shellac nail polish would) and provides a perfectly smooth surface. Although I always use a topcoat the polish is very shiny on its' own and lasts over a week without chipping.

Although this last photo isn't the greatest, I wanted to include it to illustrate just how shiny this polish is. All photos are shown with two coats and CND's Super Shiney topcoat. Although I used two coats for this polish, you could probably get away with one careful coat as it is very opaque and applied like a dream. Bond Street is available for $17 CDN at
Sephora.
Do I Need This Color? Maybe. The formula is great and the color is pretty and not something I have a dupe for in my collection, but it certainly isn't stare-at-my-nails-all-day-long-amazingness.
