Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude and Taupe Review

Normally I do not like waterproof products as I find them rough on the eye to both apply and remove, but I have made an exception for these ScandalEyes Kohl Kajal's. I am a big fan of the ScandalEyes (original) mascara, which is what drew me to these eyeliners. They have a creamy texture that applies smoothly and is easy to build up.

The Nude is a light, slightly orange-tinged nude, while the Taupe is more of a true taupe.

005 Nude and 004 Taupe
I like using the Nude in my waterline and to brighten up my inner corner, either on it's own or as a base for a lighter color. The Taupe is my go-to product for lining my lower lash line when I want a natural look. I have no complaints about the Nude eyeliner, but I do have two small complaints about the Taupe. The Taupe seems a little waxier and often gets caught in my lower lashes, clumping them and leaving a bit of a residue. I also find it difficult to remove the Taupe, even with waterproof makeup remover, which annoys me because the last thing I want to be doing is pulling at the delicate skin of my eye.
From L to R: Bare eye, Rimmel Nude, MAC Fascinating in waterline
As you can see there is a very subtle difference between the bare eye and the Nude. The contrast is a little more pronounced in person, but this is also due to my light skin color. Nude gives a more natural look than using a traditional white eyeliner in the waterline.
