Top 25 Workout Songs

Pink Asics Running Shoes, iPod, Workout Songs
Just about everyones new year's resolutions include something related to fitness or health, so I figured it was the perfect time to start doing some fitness-related posts! About three or four months ago I got back into working out and one of the things I discovered is just how much music can affect your workout. Music is so motivating (and distracting!) regardless of the exercise you're doing so workout playlists are an absolute must for me.

The first four songs are my favorite running jams. When I'm running I like to have a playlist that matches my pace to keep me going. I tend to jog anywhere between level 5.5 to 6.0 on the treadmill (around 10.5 min/mile) and songs with a bpm of 130-140 tend to match this pace best. The rest of the songs are my favorites for general workouts, be it weights or the elliptical. When these come on they give me that extra little push to work harder.
