Empties, Vol. 2

I seem to be going through a lot of products lately, so what better to do than an empties post! You know the drill, these are products I've used up recently and let you know whether I liked them and if I'll repurchase. So, without further adieu, let's jump right in!

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24h in 210 Buff N
I seriously love this foundation. I always knew I liked it, but applying it with a beauty blender just took it to a whole new level (as I'm sure it would with most liquid foundations). The coverage is insane, but it still looks and feels like skin, and lasts throughout the night. The shade range is impressive (28 shades), with lots of options for both fair and dark complexions. In terms of finish, I'd say it lies somewhere around natural, not matte and not overly dewy. However, I always set it with a mattifying powder so that kind of distorts my view. I'd definitely recommend checking this one out if you're in the market for a new foundation, I've already bought a third bottle!

Batiste Original Dry Shampoo
An oldie, but a goodie! I've used a lot of different high-end dry shampoos, but for my hair, nothing holds a candle to the $8 Batiste. My hair is extremely thick and I haven't found anything as heavy-duty as this. I've never had a problem with it blending into my dark hair, and it gives a nice little volume boost. Will repurchase.

Trader Joes Tahitian Paradise Brown Sugar Body Scrub
This was part of a three-pack of body scrubs that Trader Joes released around Christmas that I just finally got around to using (#youknowyouhavetoomanyproductswhen). I would say this performed on par with any other body scrub I've used, averagely. But it smelled ahhhmazing. I can't even really describe the scent. It has the characteristic brown sugar smell of course, but then was also warm and fruity at the same time. I wish they would sell this one just by itself, because I'm not sure if I would buy another three. But, my gosh did it smell good. If anyone knows anything with a similar scent definitely let me know!

AmorePacific Moisture Bound Lip Treatment
This one I'm sure I've mentioned a couple times before. It's awesome, go buy it. End review. Just kidding, but it is awesome! It's thick, super moisturizing, and the staying power is practically unparalleled. It is expensive, but it lasts quite awhile so for me it's definitely worth it. Repurchased.

Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 45 Moisturizer
I've used this on and off for years and have been pretty happy with it. It moisturizes well, has a good price point, and protects my fair skin from the sun. My dermatologist also approves! Repurchased.

Anastasia Clear Brow Gel
This is another product I've used for years. I've tried a drugstore version and the one by MAC, but this is by far my favorite. It keeps my brows locked in place, but doesn't look or feel 'crunchy.' This is one of those products that I will probably never actively look for something new. I like it, it does a good job. So unless something new and fantastic comes out that is heavily promoted in the beauty community, I'll probably repurchase it forever.

CND Super Shiney Top
Yet another "forever repurchase." I think I mentioned this in my previous Empties post as well. It works with all brands of polishes and really provides a superior shine and lasting power. The Chanel top coat used to be holy grail for me, but, honestly, I haven't used it in years because this one is so inexpensive and does such an amazing job. I should really do a side-by-side comparison... Repurchased (I always have a couple backups)!
