Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Laquer: 134 Lola

Lola, an homage to the fragrance of the same name, is a bright, medium red with slight orange undertones. It applied smoothly and achieved full coverage at 2 coats. Although it is toted as being shiny enough to not require a top coat, all photos are shown with one coat of CND's Super Shiney (my personal favorite). While it is shiny without a top coat, it doesn't have the glossy, gel-like finish that I like.

This is the second Marc Jacobs Beauty nail laquer I have reviewed and I must admit I like this one a lot better than the previous. In my other post I mentioned that the formula was a little thick and difficult to apply, however this polish applied beautifully. Darker colors can sometimes do that. As you can see in the last photo with flash, there is some visible nail line showing through, but you can only really see that in direct sunlight. I wasn't really wowed by many of the other colors, although I do still want to try out Lux (a neon melon yellow) from this collection. After this purchase I cemented my VIB status at Sephora, so I might just have to take advantage of my 10% off discount and try Lux as well!
